Spring Gryphon

I love drawing gryphons, and this may show you why. When I finish a good picture of a gryphon, I can believe I drew it from life.

This is a male gryphon just entering his prime, old enough to claim a mate and showing the iridescent spring plumage to prove it.

I do hope the lady gryphons are suitably impressed.

This beautiful fellow was created in Prismacolor pencils on Canson paper.
Matted color xerographic prints are available in a limited edition of 30.
