Okay, okay; I like unicorns, too. But not the ones that look like someone just strapped a horn to a horse's head. Unicorns are magical creatures in their own right and deserve to look a bit less mundane than that!

This delicate-looking creature has just been startled...by what, I don't know...yet.

Delicate doesn't necessarily mean weak. If this unicorn has to defend her forest, I know who I'm betting on.
